Position Overview

As a Sales Development Assistant, you will work directly under the Sales Director, participating in global business development, strategic planning, and sales-related tasks. Initially, this role will support the Sales Director as an assistant, focusing on market research, client prospecting, and sales strategy execution.

As you gain a deeper understanding of our business and develop your skills, you will have the opportunity to transition into a Key Account Sales role, with potential career growth into Sales Management. We seek candidates with strong client development capabilities, business acumen, and learning agility, capable of thriving in a fast-paced startup environment and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

Client Prospecting & Resource Expansion:
Assist in identifying and developing new client resources, supporting the discovery and relationship management of potential clients.
Conduct market research and analysis to identify high-quality clients and assist in developing engagement strategies.
Build and manage prospective client lists, tracking their needs and providing relevant support.
Market Research & Analysis:
Assist in conducting market research, analyzing industry trends, client needs, and competitor activities to support sales strategy.
Summarize and analyze market data to provide accurate business insights for strategic decision-making.
Sales Support & Strategic Planning:
Assist in developing sales plans and strategies, providing support during the execution of sales initiatives.
Track client requirements and help the Sales Director drive business development and negotiations.
Support the Sales Director in business negotiations to reach agreements favorable to company growth.
Sales Assistant Duties:
Prepare sales materials and presentations, supporting daily operations of the sales team.
Attend sales meetings, record meeting minutes, and follow up on action items.
Market Expansion Representative:
Represent the company at industry conferences and trade shows to expand market contacts and potential clients.
Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute market promotion strategies, enhancing brand awareness.
Reporting & Decision Support:
Prepare business reports, sales data analysis, and client feedback to support executive decision-making.
Assist in preparing company meeting materials and strategic reports to ensure implementation of company objectives.
Cross-Department Collaboration & Project Execution:
Coordinate with other departments (marketing, product, operations, etc.) to advance cross-functional projects.
Track project progress to ensure successful achievement of company business goals.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree or above, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, or related fields. Overseas study or work experience is a plus.
Experience: Some relevant internship or work experience in sales is preferred; experience in B2B client development or sales support is a plus.
Client Development Skills: Strong ability to identify and develop new clients and establish preliminary business relationships.
Business Acumen: Keen insight into industry trends, market dynamics, and client needs, with the ability to identify opportunities quickly and take action.
Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation abilities to interact effectively with internal teams and external clients.
Analytical Skills: Capable of conducting market and sales data analysis to assist executives in strategic decision-making.
Learning & Adaptability: Able to quickly learn and adapt to new environments, thriving in a fast-paced startup setting.
Project Management: Basic project management skills to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
Language Skills: Proficiency in English reading and writing. Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Interview Process

Resume screening and initial HR phone interview.
First-round video interview with future manager or department head.
Second-round interview with the company CEO (online or onsite).
Additional rounds may be arranged for further discussion if necessary.
Role-related assignments may be given during the interview process to assess practical skills.
