There are generally potential consequences.
First, authorities discover that someone is working without a valid visa or work authorization, the most serious outcomes may include detention, travel restrictions, fines, deportation, or even criminal liability in severe cases.
Second, the company may face business suspension, financial penalties, damage to its compliance record, and in some cases may lose the ability to continue operating or sponsoring future visas locally.
sailglobal owns multiple channels, competitive pricing and high reliability. This is primarily driven by the goal of building long-term partnerships with clients, which requires consistently maintaining a high standard of service quality.
Fees are generally collected after an initial assessment confirms eligibility to apply for the relevant visa. Payments are typically charged in stages, and if the process is discontinued midway, only a portion of the service fee will be refunded.
The U.S. visa is a 10-year multiple-entry visa. The application process is as follows:
- Provide a passport bio page photo, personal visa application form, and a 5.1cm × 5.1cm photo
- Schedule the visa interview appointment
- After securing the interview appointment, prepare all supporting documents
- Complete document preparation within 15 days before the interview date
- Attend the visa center in person for the interview and document submission
- After the interview, the visa result is usually known on the same day
- If approved, it takes approximately 15 working days for visa issuance and passport return
Interview appointment availability depends on the consulate, and the waiting time is generally 2–3 months. Expedited appointment booking may occasionally secure earlier dates.
Yes, business travel visas can be supported for most major countries worldwide.
We work with one of the largest travel agency providers for business travel visa processing, with long-term bulk purchasing partnerships that help secure competitive pricing and relatively high approval support rates.
However, sailglobal does not guarantee visa approval outcomes. Our role is to simplify the process by reducing administrative workload and streamlining applications, while potentially offering a more efficient and cost-effective option compared to arranging it independently.
We can support both business visa applications for short-term overseas business travel (where there is no employment relationship, only temporary business visits), as well as long-term work visas for overseas assignments.
For long-term work visas, since a local legal entity is required to act as the sponsoring employer, this service is typically used together with sailglobal EOR solution. In this case, our local entity can issue the necessary visa sponsorship and employment documentation for the employee.
Processing times vary depending on the immigration authority in each country, so timelines can differ significantly.
In general, work visa applications are usually completed within 1 to 6 months, and in some cases, expedited processing options may be available.
For accurate timelines based on a specific country and candidate profile, please consult our visa and immigration specialists.
Some major immigration countries may support this type of visa pathway.
To assess eligibility, please provide basic candidate information such as annual salary, education background, and work experience/CV. Our team will review the profile and provide feedback within 48 hours.
U.S. work visa applications are relatively complex, especially for technical roles. The process typically involves two main stages:
First, applicants must go through the H-1B visa lottery. Only if selected in the lottery can they proceed to the next stage of the visa application process. The selection rate is low—for Chinese nationals, it is generally no more than 3%.
Second, after passing the lottery, the formal visa application process begins. This stage also carries a certain risk of rejection.
In addition, sending technical employees from overseas to the U.S. usually involves a long processing timeline. The H-1B lottery generally starts around March–April each year, with results released around late May to June. After selection, the visa application process begins, and the earliest approval timeline is typically around early September. Employees can then enter the U.S. and begin onboarding, with actual work commencement usually around October.
Recommendation: In many cases, companies choose direct local hiring in the U.S. Alternatively, we can support executive or specialized talent transfer visa routes such as L-1A and L-1B for senior management or key personnel. However, these options cannot be used under an EOR structure, and they typically involve higher costs and require the U.S. entity to meet certain operational and financial conditions.
